Looking for London’s Best Office
Working Buildings 2008 - 8-9 October 2008 - Olympia, London
LONDON, June 26 /PRNewswire/ — The organisers of the London-based
built environment exhibition Working Buildings 2008, is searching for
London’s best office. The Office of the Year award will honour businesses
within the capital for office innovation and excellence, with particular
emphasis on energy and waste management. The award is a new addition to the
Working Buildings Innovation Awards which takes place during Working
Buildings 2008 at London Olympia from 8-9 October 2008.
Event Director of Working Buildings 2008, Adrian Newton, comments on
the new award: “Energy-use in commercial buildings accounts for nearly
three quarters* of London’s carbon emissions and so it is vital that
building and estate managers take their responsibilities towards the
environment seriously. The judges of the Office of the Year award will be
looking for measurable improvements in reducing consumption and improving
energy efficiency.”
The other categories in the Working Buildings Innovation Awards are as

The awards will recognise exceptional products or services that have
been launched onto the UK market within the last 12 months.
Deadline for entries is Friday, 5 September 2008. This year’s awards
will be presented during a champagne reception on 8 October at London
Olympia.
